Read on, please.
Finally a photo. It’s been forever, I know. So this weekend was pretty awesome, slightly nerve-racking, but awesome.
So, Planned Parenthood is beginning to work on a book; “a collection of personal stories from women and men who lived through the era before Roe v. Wade. These stories will aim to bring to life the era before Choice for young women. They will paint a picture of a time when a woman could not have access to birth control if she were married. An era where a woman might be asked about her plans to start a family when she was applying for a job. An era where a young woman could die on a hotel room floor because she was desperate to end a pregnancy she was not ready for.”
…Yep. And guess who get’s to photograph it! ME! I’m so thankful for C. Welch’s recommendation. This was only the first of many shoots, and I only got to photograph two women this Saturday, but I’m sure there will be many more, and men too! If you know of anyone that has a story, that would be willing to share, let me know and I can give you some contact information.
Also, if you’re wondering why I haven’t posted a picture of the women, it’s because I can’t, not right now at least.
So I’ll leave you gazing at my main man Kenneth.

Movin on up.

Tomorrow I start my big girl job, although it doesn’t exactly have anything to do with photography, there is the possibility. I’m excited to start making bank and buy a new dslr. I’ve got my eyes set on the 5D Mark III. Oh, and I’m going camping in two weeks for a whole week at Rickets glen.. I’m excited, although I’m going to have to shoot film bc ken broke my camera. But I’m alright with that.
